Best Urban Co-op. Bank Award 2010-11
Whosoever may have said that “History repeats itself”, may not have perceived being repeated most often in The Nav Jeevan Co-op. Bank Ltd., Ulhasnagar. Not once, twice (in succession) , thrice but again for the fourth time the Bank – most customer friendly Bank in Ulhasnagar & Kopri Colony, Thane(East), has been honoured with Best Urban Co-op. Bank Award for the Financial Year 2010-11 by Maharashtra Urban Co-op. Banks’ Federation. Earlier the Bank has been honoured with the same Award for successive two years in 2004-05, 2005-06 and third time in 2009-10. This being the fourth time & the Award is again in succession of year 2009-10.
The Maharashtra Urban Co-op. Banks’ Federation Ltd. instituted this Award on the eve of their Silver Jubilee Year celebration in the year 2004 onwards for Co-operative Banks in Maharashtra (more than 600) in the Deposit Category of Rs.50 Crores, Rs.50 Crores – Rs.200 Crores, Rs.200 Crores – Rs.500 Crores and above Rs.500 Crores. The above Award was received by the Chairman of the Bank Shri Sitaldas K. Harchandani, Shri Bacharam Rupchandani, Director and the CEO Shri Ram Hassija at a well organized Function on Tuesday, 11th October, 2011 at Federation’s Office in Mumbai in the presence of various distinguished personalities consisting of Chairmen/Directors/CEOs of various Co-op. Banks all over Maharashtra & other dignitaries in the Deposit Category of Rs.200 Crores – Rs.500 Crores of Urban Co-op. Banks.
